MERCURE VIENNA

The modernization of the Mercure Wien City hotel in Vienna's Old Town is a project inspired by the values of the Wiener Werkstätte movement – attention to detail, high-quality craftsmanship, and exquisite workmanship. Over 600 square meters, key common areas of the hotel have been remodeled, giving them a cohesive and contemporary character.

The scope of work included the reception area, entrance area, and public restrooms, as well as the catering area with a breakfast room and buffet. The conference rooms were also modernized. The new design combines simple forms with high-quality materials and details inspired by the tradition of Viennese craftsmanship.

One of the biggest challenges was carrying out the work in stages while the hotel continued to operate. This required precise organization of the construction process and coordination of individual stages to minimize the impact on the facility's daily operations.

The scope of work included comprehensive construction and finishing works in the reception, catering and conference areas.
